The Gaplan Ambassador to the Netherlands, Ralf Stultiëns (left) receives the Order of Orange-Nassau from the King of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander.

About Diplomatic Missions

Gapla’s diplomatic missions provide essential services to Gaplan citizens living, working, learning, or travelling abroad. Diplomatic missions may help with emergency situations, passport or visa issues, information about Gapla, and more.

To contact a diplomatic mission, locate the email address of the diplomatic mission on this page. Currently, diplomatic missions may or may not have physical presences.

By an order of the President of Gapla, all applicants to the Provisional Government and all Gaplan citizens with extensive experience in micronationalism have been drafted as ambassadors if their country of residence does not have an accredited ambassador.

If you are interested in becoming an ambassador or consul member, especially if you are legally and permanently residing in one of the countries below, consider applying to become an ambassador. If your country of residence already has a Gaplan ambassador, you may be approved to serve as a consul member.

We are urgently in need of ambassadors in the following countries, in no particular order: Republic of Croatia, Republic of Serbia, Federative Republic of Brazil, Russian Federation, Republic of India, Republic of Poland, Republic of China (Taiwan), Republic of the Philippines*, New Zealand*, Republic of Korea (South Korea), and Japan.

*Asterisks denote that one or more individuals have applied for the position.

Other countries that require ambassadors are as follows, again in no particular order: Republic of Chile, Italian Republic, Hellenic Republic (Greece), Republic of Austria, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Malaysia, Kingdom of Thailand, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

United States of America

Gapla’s diplomatic mission to the United States serves as a shining model for other diplomatic missions. As the largest of our diplomatic missions, our team in the United States is headed by Ambassador Wyatt Baek and Minister of Foreign Affairs Chelsea Chen, with six consul members serving in a variety of U.S. states.
