New administration in the MFA after the resignation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Chelsea Chen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and also Gaplan President Chelsea Chen has resigned on July 26, 2025, thus establishing a new administration within both the ministry and the government. Now, Amalia “Rosie” Battle Cordova has been appointed as the 4th President of the Federated States of Gapla. This marks a historic milestone as she becomes the first President of Gapla unaffiliated with any political party. In one of her first executive decisions, President Battle Cordova appointed Hendrik Täks as the 11th Deputy President of Gapla.

Mateo Ortiz was appointed to replace Chelsea Chen at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will now be the new Minister.
