Statement on recent Chinese social media attention

The Federated States of Gapla has recently gained significant attention on Chinese social media, particularly on the platform Xiaohongshu (小红书). This has led to an unprecedented influx of citizenship applications, which our embassy in China is currently investigating.

As a result, government websites—especially the Secure Portal—may experience slower performance and heavier traffic, and application processing times may be significantly longer than usual. All citizenship applications will continue to be reviewed in accordance with our standard procedures.

加普拉联邦近期在中国社交媒体上获得了广泛关注，尤其是在小红书平台。这导致公民申请数量空前增长，我国驻华使馆正在对此进行调查。因此，政府网站——尤其是安全门户——可能会出现运行缓慢和访问量增加的情况，申请处理时间也可能会比平时显著延长。所有公民申请仍将按照我们的标准程序进行审核。
